The CAT program
The CAT qualification provides you with a solid foundation in finance and accounting. It enables you to learn all the technical skills and knowledge required to perform an accounting-support role.The CAT status can only be achieved upon completetion of the necessary exams. After passing the exam, one is able to progress to ACCA Qualification with exemptions.
Entry requirements & exemptions
There are no formal academic qualifications necessary to register for the CAT qualification. However your previous qualifications may entitle you to exemptions from some of the CAT exams. For more details on the CAT program visit www.accaglobal.com

Introductory Level Papers
- Paper T1 - Recording Financial Transactions
- Paper T2 - Information for Management Control
Intermediate Level Papers
- Paper T3 - Maintaining Financial Records
- Paper T4 - Accounting for Costs
Advanced Core Papers
- Paper T5 - Management of People and Systems
- Paper T6 - Drafting Financial Statements
- Paper T7 - Planning, Control & Performance Management
Advanced Option Papers
- Paper T8 - Implementing Audit Procedures
- Paper T9 - Preparing Taxation Computations
- Paper T10 - Managing Finances
The course commences every January and July.
