Certificate

Students must pass at least three Certificate subjects before proceeding to the Diploma. However, all four Certificate subjects must be passed before the Diploma can be awarded.

BIS Certificate

Practical assessments by a college tutor are required, therefore only students enrolled at an ABE accredited college can enter for this programme and the examinations.

Subject Entries

There is no limit to the number of subjects candidates may enter but it is recommended that you sit no more than five subjects at one session. Do not enter for subjects whose dates clash, as the timetable cannot be rescheduled.
A notification slip will be sent to all candidates approximately two weeks before the examinations. If you do not receive your notification slip you can print one from the Student Area or request a copy from the ABE office at least one week before the examinations.
There is no time limit to the completion of any ABE qualifications, but the membership must be kept in force by payment of annual subscription while students are sitting examinations.
